YOU AND YOUR PET(S) WILL RECEIVE:

  • face-to-face sit-down with a Pet Care Professional on our roster.
  • link to your Online Client Portal. (Veterinary info/release form, emergency contacts, policy review, pet care instructions, etc. can easily be completed online in our portal prior to the Meet and Greet so the visit can be focused on getting to know your sitter and making sure we know all your pets’ tricks, special quirks, and favorite routines.)
  • an introduction to our Pet Care Departure Reports.

Our relationship with our clients and their people is built on a whole lot of trust, so this meeting is a great opportunity to ask as many questions as needed and to share all the wonderful things we should know about your little loved ones.

The Dog Walk | Professional Pet Care Services | The Peaceful Pup

30 Minute Walk: $28

45 Minute Walk: $33

Dog walks include up to 2 dogs, $4 each additional dog.

60 Minute At-Home Chaperone Visit: $45

15 Minute Visit: $20

These visits are purely focused on your pup’s potty elimination.

YOUR PUP WILL RECEIVE:

  • a quick leash up or let out.

  • a treat (if approved by you).

  • a Departure Report with photo(s) and time-stamped journal entry of our little potty adventure.
  • porch package retrieval.
  • peace of mind knowing you don’t have to rush home.
Ojai Pet Sitters Ojai Pet Sitting

30-Minute Visit: $30

Almost Overnight (2 Hours in the evening, 1 Hour in the morning): $128 Total or ($85 for PM visit, $43 for AM visit)

Important! Please consider the amount of time the required tasks will take plus quality time to be spent with your pet(s) when choosing 30, 45, or 60-minute visits.

Subcutaneous fluid admin by a vet tech.

Up to 20-Minute Visit (Cat or Small Dog): $28
Up to 30-Minute Visit (Medium/Large Dog): $32

  • subcutaneous fluid administration by a gentle, experienced vet tech in the comfort of home.
  • treats (if approved by you).

  • porch package and mail retrieval.
  • complete peace of mind, knowing your pet is getting proper TLC without the stress of traveling to the vet’s office.

15-Minute Home Care Visit: $20 (No Pets)

30-Minute Home Care Visit: $27 (No Pets)

YOUR HOME WILL RECEIVE:

  • package, mail, and paper retrieval service.
  • plants watered.
  • rubbish bin service.
  • a safety walk-through.
  • alternating light and window covering service to give a lived-in appearance.

YOU WILL RECEIVE:

  • a Departure Report following each visit detailing how the visit went and if anything is of concern.
  • security, knowing someone responsible is keeping an eye on things.
  • total peace of mind.

HOLIDAY SURCHARGE

In the spirit of the season, our sweet Pet Care Professionals can be there when you can’t. A surcharge is applied to each visit on the following major holidays:
    • New Years Day
    • Martin Luther King Jr. Day
    • Presidents Day
    • Easter Sunday
    • Memorial Day
    • Juneteenth
    • Independence Day
    • Labor Day
    • Indigenous Peoples Day
    • Christmas Day
    • Christmas Eve
    • New Years Eve

Holiday Surcharge: $10 Each Visit

*OUT OF AREA TRAVEL SURCHARGE

An Out of Area Travel Surcharge will apply to any visits occurring outside of our regular service area and applies to visits occurring in Matilija Canyon, Upper Ojai, some parts of the East End of Ojai, and Casitas Springs. (We do not provide services outside of the Ojai Valley.)

100% of these surcharges are paid to your Pet Care Professional to cover their transportation costs.

(Our regular service area is contained within a 5 mile radius, originating from 1129 Maricopa Highway in Ojai, CA 93023.)

Out of Area Travel Surcharge: $5 Each Visit

TEMPORARY FUEL SURCHARGE

A Temporary Fuel Surcharge will apply to all visits when the average gas price for a gallon of regular rises above $5 per gallon.

Spikes in gas prices greatly affect pet sitters, dog walkers, rideshare drivers, and delivery drivers. To help reduce the burden for our team, we roll out a temporary fuel surcharge when prices reach $5.00 per gallon and discontinue the surcharge once it falls below.

Temporary Fuel Surcharge: $0.55 Each Visit

LATE BOOKING FEE

Stuff happens. Sometimes you need to give us less than 24 hours notice.

Late Booking Fees will be applied in order for us to rearrange our schedules and accommodate your needs in the case of needing to book our services last-minute.

  • Less than 24 Hours Notice: A Late Booking Fee of $12 per visit will be applied if we’re able to accommodate.
  • Same-Day Booking Requests: A Same-Day Booking Fee of $24 per visit will be applied if we’re able to accommodate.
  • Booking requests that are submitted over a weekend for Monday service will be charged the Same-Day Booking Fee. 
  • Booking/scheduling is done on a first come first serve basis. We will, however, always do our best to accommodate your needs.

CANCELLATION POLICIES

We adhere to a strict policy of NO OVERBOOKING. Therefore, once you have contracted services, we will turn away business in order to accommodate your schedule. You will be charged for all visits without proper notice of cancellation. 

These policies apply to individual visit cancellations, full trip reservation cancellations, as well as unexpected early returns.

The Peaceful Pup reserves the right to deny or terminate service because of safety concerns, financial concerns, or inappropriate and uncomfortable situations.

Standard Cancellations must be received 24 hours before scheduled visit in order for the full visit fee to be credited. 

  • 50% of visit fee will be applied if less than 24 hours cancellation notice is given. 
  • 100% of visit fee will be applied if cancellation is received less than one (1) hour of scheduled visit.

Fall/Winter Holiday Cancellations and Changes: Due to high demand on specific holidays, our cancellation fees are strictly imposed during these times and differ from our Standard Cancellation policy. A Fall/Winter Holiday reservation consists of any reservation containing any of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and/or New Year’s Day.

  • Payment is due at time of reservation booking. 
  • 100% of visit/reservation fees to be refunded if cancellation notice is given a full 14 days prior to the first scheduled date of holiday reservation. 
  • 50% of visit/reservation fees to be refunded if cancellation notice is given a full 7 days (and under 14 days) prior to the first scheduled date of holiday reservation. 
  • 100% of visit/reservation fees are applied if notice of cancellation is received under 7 days prior to the first scheduled date of holiday reservation Therefore, no credits or refunds will be given. (Example: Client books a service reservation for 12/23 through 12/27 and cancels the entire reservation on 12/17, so Client will be responsible to pay 100% for the entire reservation from the first scheduled service on 12/23 to the last on 12/27.
